As you are aware Munsoft reviews the LG Database on a continuous basis to ensure data submitted is compliant with mSCOA segment validation rules.
We noted from the recent M01 and M02 submissions for the 2022/23 Financial Year some submissions did not pass all the mSCOA stage 2 validation rules and the errors relate to new validation rules National Treasury applied for the 2022/23 MTREF.
Munsoft would like to inform all municipalities that we are putting the necessary controls in place for these additional stage 2 validation rules to be included in the system.
As prior periods are prohibited from being opened, corrected and resubmitted, a correction will be applied on the data submitted in the M03 that will ensure your cumulative Monthly Actual submissions are successful.
It will be advised that the M03 is submitted and confirmed on the LG Database to be successful cumulatively before the M03 period is locked.
We understand the importance of the LG Database Status for our Municipalities in terms of being compliant with Reporting Regulations and we will continue to ensure your data remains credible and compliant.
