As the financial year end is upon us and we have done our utmost to ensure it is a smooth process for our clients, we would like to emphasise the following:
- Ensure that all 2023/06 transactions are kept up to date to minimise having to do correcting transactions in the new financial year.
- Tariff Control Realignment has to be done to select a new control for the items that were retired in Chart 6.6 by National Treasury.
- Make sure to do your Stock Take (capture and close) and any other adjustments before performing Stores Month End.
- Ensure that the ORGB has been locked and authorised.
- Check the Quick Code extract for any Quick Codes that needs to be validated.
- Purchase Orders need to be finalised by Procurement department as far as possible.
Other Year End procedures as discussed in the Year End workshop recently can be followed for successful roll over.
